We are looking for a Telecom OSS Administrator to support, maintain, and operate Operational Support Systems (OSS) in a telecom environment. The role sits between general IT system administration and specialized OSS engineering, requiring solid system administration skills combined with a working understanding of telecom OSS processes.
The position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with Linux systems, application support, and troubleshooting, and who is willing to develop deeper knowledge of OSS platforms over time.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain OSS applications and supporting infrastructure
Monitor system availability, performance, alarms, and scheduled jobs
Handle incidents, service requests, and basic problem resolution within OSS platforms
Support Fault, Configuration, Performance, and Inventory Management processes at operational level
Administer user accounts, roles, and access rights across OSS tools
Perform routine system checks and ensure platform stability
Support deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
Work with logs, alarms, and basic performance indicators to identify issues
Support integration flows between OSS, network systems, and external platforms
Coordinate with internal IT teams, NOC, and vendors for issue resolution
Maintain operational documentation and runbooks
Participate in testing of OSS changes and releases
Ensure backup and recovery procedures are executed and validated
Provide on-call support for critical incidents when required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent job experience
2–4 years of experience in system administration or application support
