What we expect from you:
Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance as per vendor guidelines and industry best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve mediation-related issues and trouble tickets (issues are relatively rare on the platform).
Implement and maintain proper monitoring and alarming mechanisms for both the application and infrastructure layers.
Ensure continuous support for existing mediation flows and resolve any performance or data integrity concerns.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize the risk of failures and service degradation.
Develop new mediation flows to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
Modify and optimize existing mediation workflows as needed.
Participate in project meetings where mediation platform input and development work are required.
Implement configuration changes based on business or operational demands.
Perform other development and enhancement tasks based on business and operational needs.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and support staff to enhance their understanding of SAP CI.
Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to ensure efficient billing processes.
Implement best practices to enhance the scalability and reliability of SAP CI solutions.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with mediation systems within a telecommunications environment.
Experience with both support and development tasks within a mediation platform.
Strong experience with mediation platforms, including data collection, enrichment, transformation, and distribution.
Understanding of telecom network data processing, including Call Detail Records (CDRs) and Event Detail Records (EDRs).
Proficiency in mediation system monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting best practices.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Perl) for automation and data processing.
Knowledge of system integration concepts, including API-based interactions and file-based data exchange.
Familiarity with network protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP, REST) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
Understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) for data validation and reporting.
Intermediary knowledge of C/C++ and Java for developing mediation-related functionalities and optimizing performance.
