IPKO, one of Kosovo’s leading and fastest-growing companies, is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain application-level solutions that power innovative telecom products and services. You will work with modern technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems in a dynamic and agile environment.
What will you do
Perform technical feasibility related to business requests for implementation of new products and services or modification of existing ones;
Design, develop and maintain end-to-end solutions in the application level, product catalogue, provisioning engine, Charging and Billing System and other related systems to fulfill the business requirements;
Administers the CRM, ERP Platforms and other Business Applications, perform daily operations on application level;
Prepare technical documentation related to implemented solution;
Support user acceptance tests and applies bug fixing for detected issues;
Initiate optimization activities, benchmarking and performance improvements;
Provides on-call support for production systems on a Rota schedule;
Participate in different projects initiated based on business requests or technical needs
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years of work experience as Backend/Full-stack developer;
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent degree;
Experience with PHP programming and its web frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter and/or JAVA EI, Groovy scripting
Experience with SQL/NoSQL database development. Oracle PL SQL development is considered an advantage;
Understanding of CRM and ERP platforms is essential;
Experience with systems integration strategies and patterns, such as REST/SOAP web services
Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system is an advantage;
Able to work in agile team with frequent and dynamic alteration of tasks and priorities;
Flexible, adaptable and with strong drive for helping and resolving problems of both internal and external customers;
Documentation and Communication Skills;
Micro services Architecture Understanding;
Proactive and self-motivated;
English knowledge, both in written and spoken;
Knowledge on Telecom Industry standards, core network environment, GSM technology, transaction processing flows, billing and charging processes would be considered an advantage.
